The Russian Ministry of Defense has scrambled its fighter jets to intercept and "drive away" two U.S. Air Force B-52 bombers from entering Russian airspace.
In what is perceived as a "provocative" move toward Moscow, two US B-52 "Stratofortress" strategic bombers recently flew near the border of Russia's Kaliningrad exclave twice.
Recently, the United States Air Force (USAF) released images of the strategic bomber aircraft B-52 Stratofortress equipped with “live” hypersonic missiles at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
