Russia’s Supercam S350 UAV Showcased First Time in Caspian Region During ADEX-2024
The Supercam S350 is a light-class UAV (flying wing) with a video communication range of more than 70 km - it is an optimal tool for aerial monitoring in the visible and infrared spectrum, aerial photography, and laser scanning.
(DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA) – Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone, created by the Unmanned Systems Group of Companies from Russia, will be presented to the Caspian region for the first timeat the 5th International Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX-2024, which will be held in Baku from September 24 to 26.
The Supercam S350 is a light-class UAV (flying wing) with a video communication range of more than 70 km – it is an optimal tool for aerial monitoring in the visible and infrared spectrum, aerial photography, and laser scanning.
The features of the complex include the efficiency of UAV assembly, modular composite elements, interchangeable and combined payloads with unified gyrostabilized platforms, a system for detaching wing consoles during landing to prevent possible damage, flight stability and good controllability.
The UAV is capable of performing tasks at any time of day and in different weather conditions.
Supercam is equipped with an electric motor and flies almost silently.
The UAV is launched with the help of a catapult (pneumatic or elastic), and lands with a parachute.
The drone has proven itself both in the civil tasks and during a special military operation (SMO).
Just a couple of weeks ago Supercam S350 performed greatly during the drills in Kyrgyzstan held by The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). One of our operators was awarded by the Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan.
In the Caspian region Supercam S350 can be used for such tasks as: patrolling state borders, maintaining law and order and ensuring security, environmental monitoring, searching for people, monitoring the infrastructure of oil companies (including pipelines, offshore platforms), aerial photography for geodetic and cartographic work.
The advantages of using the Supercam S350 in the Caspian region states are its small size and weight compared to heavier UAVs produced by other countries with comparable technical characteristics, including maneuverability and ease of operation, launch and transportation, as well as reliable communication with the ground control station, which is provided by a transmitter with high radiation power and high sensitivity of the UAV receiver.
The company’s catalog also features the entire product line: Supercam SX350 VTOL, compact UAV Supercam S150, and Supercam X4 and Supercam X4E multirotor UAVs.
In case of establishing regular deliveries the Unmanned Systems Group is ready to consider the possibility of organizing a service center in the Caspian region countries, as well as discuss the possibility of organizing local production.
