MILDEF Highlights Local Defense Industry’s Competitiveness on the Global Stage
Recently, MILDEF participated in the Asian Defense & Security (ADAS) 2024 exhibition held at the World Trade Center-Metro Manila, Philippines, providing the company with an opportunity to showcase its products and capabilities to an international delegation.

This is evident through its active participation in international defense exhibitions abroad.
These efforts are crucial in showcasing local defense technologies to the world. Recently, MILDEF took part in the Asian Defense & Security (ADAS) 2024 exhibition held at the World Trade Center-Metro Manila, Philippines.
The exhibition, which concluded last week, provided the company with a platform to display its products and capabilities to an international audience.
This marks a significant achievement for MILDEF, which continues to stand out as a local defense automotive company despite not being a major industry player.

Throughout this year, MILDEF has participated in other notable exhibitions, including Eurosatory 2024 in Paris, France, and DSA & NATSEC Asia in Kuala Lumpur.
MILDEF is expected to maintain this momentum with upcoming participation in events such as Indo Defence 2024 in Jakarta and the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024.
At ADAS 2024, MILDEF introduced its High Mobility Light Tactical Vehicle (HMLTV), a smaller yet more versatile tactical vehicle compared to the HMAV Tarantula.
This vehicle can be modified to meet various operational needs, whether as a light armored vehicle, for patrols, or as an escort.
The HMLTV’s versatility captured the attention of international delegates, including military representatives, security forces, and government agencies from around the world.
MILDEF’s participation in these international exhibitions not only opens doors to expanding cooperation with other nations but also strengthens trust in the quality of locally produced defense products from Malaysia.
