ASELSAN Showcases Steel Dome, Electronic Warfare and Naval Combat Systems at World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh
Türkiye’s defence giant ASELSAN highlights interoperable air and missile defence, electronic warfare, naval combat and unmanned systems designed for high-intensity multi-domain operations at World Defense Show 2026.
(DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA) — ASELSAN is demonstrating how its fully integrated defence technologies translate into decisive multi-domain operational superiority across layered air and missile defence, electronic warfare, naval combat systems, and advanced payloads for unmanned platforms at World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh.
Türkiye’s leading defence company is presenting a comprehensive portfolio of interoperable systems engineered to address today’s increasingly complex, congested, and multi-domain threat environment, reinforcing its position as a systems integrator rather than a standalone platform provider.
ASELSAN’s cutting-edge technologies are designed as resilient, interoperable, and scalable defence architectures that enhance situational awareness, survivability, and mission effectiveness for modern armed forces operating in high-intensity and spectrum-contested battlespaces.

World Defense Show 2026 is held from 8 to 12 February 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Commenting on ASELSAN’s participation at the exhibition President and CEO of ASELSAN Ahmet Akyol stated that World Defense Show represents a critical platform for demonstrating the company’s capability to deliver integrated, combat-ready defence architectures rather than isolated systems.
He emphasised that the Middle East remains one of ASELSAN’s most strategic regions, with WDS providing a vital forum to deepen engagement with regional partners and advance long-term cooperation.
According to Akyol, ASELSAN’s strategic focus is on enabling multi-domain superiority through resilient and interoperable solutions while simultaneously supporting partners’ operational independence and technological sovereignty.
A central highlight of ASELSAN’s presence at WDS 2026 is its Steel Dome multi-layered air and missile defence architecture, which integrates systems such as the SİPER long-range air defence system, the KORKUT very short-range air defence system, the GÜRZ 200B tactical air and missile defence system, and the İHTAR counter-unmanned aerial system capability.
Collectively, these systems reflect ASELSAN’s comprehensive and layered approach to countering a wide spectrum of aerial threats ranging from cruise missiles and ballistic targets to loitering munitions and low-flying unmanned platforms through networked and integrated defence concepts.
ASELSAN is also showcasing its SEDA 100 Gunshot Detection System integrated onto the next-generation 8×8 Tigon armoured vehicle developed by Hanwha Aerospace, underscoring its ability to seamlessly integrate advanced sensor technologies onto international land platforms.
In the electronic warfare domain, ASELSAN is highlighting advanced solutions such as the KORAL 200 mobile radar electronic warfare system and the PUHU 3-LT mobile V/UHF electronic warfare and electronic defence system, demonstrating its capability to achieve electromagnetic spectrum dominance in highly contested operational environments.
These electronic warfare systems reflect ASELSAN’s deep expertise in detection, identification, electronic attack, and electronic protection, providing a critical force-multiplier effect on the modern, network-centric battlefield.
The exhibition also features ASELSAN’s extensive portfolio of unmanned aerial vehicle payloads, including the ASELFLIR family of advanced electro-optical targeting systems and precision guidance kits such as LGK and TOLUN.

These solutions enable high-precision targeting as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, reinforcing ASELSAN’s role as a key enabler of unmanned, network-enabled, and data-driven operations across multiple domains.
In the naval domain, ASELSAN is presenting its advanced surface and underwater warfare solutions at WDS 2026, including the DÜFAS sonar system, the HIZIR soft-kill countermeasure system, the ZOKA 100-S/ED acoustic jammer, and the aselBUOY directional sonobuoy.
These naval systems highlight ASELSAN’s ability to deliver fully integrated maritime combat solutions that significantly enhance situational awareness, platform survivability, and anti-submarine warfare effectiveness across a broad spectrum of naval missions.
