India seeks to strengthen its defense ties with Malaysia, particularly in the burgeoning defense industry, as both nations’ armed forces operate similar defense assets.
In recent weeks, Pakistan conducted a test launch of the Fatah-II missile, while just a few hours ago, its primary adversary, India, carried out a test launch of the upgraded BrahMos guided missile.
Recently, Pakistan conducted a test launch of the Fatah-II Short Range Ballistic Missile (SRBM) developed by its local defence industry, showcasing yet another “show of force” to its neighboring countries, especially India dan Iran due to the latest flare-up in the border areas.
The Philippines reportedly is set to receive the India-Russia made BrahMos coastal defense missile, procured from India at a cost of US$375 million (RM1.5 billion), next month, January 2024.
“Concerned” about the enhancement of the air capabilities of neighboring countries like Pakistan and China, India will begin upgrading and modernizing its Su-30MKI fighter aircraft with several new technologies developed by its domestic defense industry.
