Malaysia Airlines Officially Unveiled Its First Airbus A330neo

Malaysia Airlines has proudly unveiled a new chapter in its journey of excellence with the official launch of its very first A330neo at the Malaysia Airlines Engineering Complex in Sepang.

This momentous occasion was graced by Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia, whose presence underscored the importance of this achievement not only for the airline but for the nation.
Guests were given an exclusive opportunity to step onboard the state-of-the-art A330neo, experiencing its enhanced cabin features designed to redefine comfort and elevate the travel experience for our passengers.

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, has taken delivery of its first A330neo late last month.
The A330-900, is the first of 20 to be leased from Avolon by MAG, setting new standards for fuel efficiency and passenger experience.
MAG’s A330neo is configured with a premium two-class layout, featuring 297 seats, with 28 fully-flat Business Class suites and an all-new Economy cabin accommodating 269 passengers.
Configured in a premium two-class layout, the aircraft features 28 fully-flat Business Class suites and 269 Economy Class seats, designed for comfort and convenience.
Passengers will benefit from more personal space, larger overhead storage, advanced air quality systems, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The A330neo will serve MAG’s routes across Asia and the Pacific, as well as select destinations in the Middle East. MAG is now the 20th airline globally to operate the A330neo, a model celebrated for its efficiency and performance.
To date, Airbus has delivered over 140 units of the A330neo to airlines worldwide.
The airline will deploy the aircraft on routes across Asia and the Pacific, as well as on selected routes to the Middle East.
MAG is the 20th to join a growing number of global airline operators of the modern fuel efficient A330neo.
