335 Israeli Military Vehicles Destroyed, Nearly 400 Soldiers Killed Thus Far

Meanwhile, 392 Israeli military personnel are reported to have been killed, with over 2,000 members of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) sustaining injuries.

(DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA) — Since the current outbreak of armed conflict between Palestinian, Hezbollah fighters and the Israeli military on October 7 until the present day, a total of 335 Israeli military vehicles have been reported as either destroyed or damaged due to the ongoing hostilities.

The damaged or destroyed Israeli military vehicles, including armored cars, tanks, helicopters, buses, and others, were reported in the conflicts occurring in Gaza, Israel, and southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, 392 Israeli military personnel are reported to have been killed, with over 2,000 members of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) sustaining injuries.

Previously, Defense Security Asia reported that based on satellite images in the northern Gaza Strip, 88 Israeli military armored vehicles and tanks were severely damaged or destroyed due to anti-tank weapon fire by small units of Palestinian fighters.

International defense observers monitoring the situation in Gaza have stated that this figure constitutes 23 percent of the 383 detected armored vehicles in action north of the Gaza Strip.

The success of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas, and Hezbollah in destroying and causing severe damage to Merkava armored vehicles used by the Israeli military has been acknowledged by international defense observers.

Reports of high destruction and damage to Israeli military armored vehicles in the northern Gaza Strip align with the reported deaths and injuries suffered by Israeli armor officers and personnel, as documented by Israeli media.

Furthermore, it is reported that 760 Israeli illegal settlers, civilians, and others have been reported killed.

However, the causes of their deaths remain unclear, and the source of these deaths cannot be determined, according to the report.

On November 20, Israeli media outlet Haaretz reported that an investigation by the Israeli police indicated that a military helicopter fired shots at attendees of the Nova music festival on October 7.

Israeli security forces were accused of killing their own people while responding to reports of an incursion by Hamas members on October 7, blaming Palestinian fighters for the incident.

The Israeli military helicopter, taking off from its base in Ramat David, fired shots at Hamas members but also hit civilians.

Meanwhile, the conflict between Palestine and Israel is reported to have caused the Israeli economy to suffer losses amounting to $48 billion (RM216 billion) for this year and the next.

Leader Capital Market, in its report, stated that the Israeli government would bear two-thirds of the total cost of the war, while one-third would be covered by the United States through its military aid.

The Israeli Ministry of Finance also declared that the current conflict forces the Jewish state to spend $270 million (RM1.2 billion) per day to fund the war, leading to the necessity of borrowing from external sources to address the severe impact on its economy. — DSA
